Ola con Aroma a Tabaco, a work inspired by the connection between the sea and the land

“When an artistic proposal combines textures and tones inherent to the earth with the dance of ocean waves, it creates an artistic expression where nature and movement merge into a profound and fluid experience.” – LiLeón

Art reveals the essence and beauty of our existence, allowing us to express ourselves through creative works. Ola con Aroma a Tabaco blends the textures and tones of the land with the rhythmic dance of ocean waves, incorporating fragments of Dominican tobacco leaves into a composition inspired by the movement of the sea. This piece evokes the sense of smell by bringing together two deeply rooted elements of our country: the sea and tobacco cultivation.

The artwork is part of a series inspired by the Japanese Wabi-Sabi philosophy—the beauty of imperfection.

LiLeón expresses: “As an artist, I have had the great pleasure of presenting my work both nationally and internationally. Through my pieces, I seek to convey emotions, allowing those who experience them to be touched by my artistic expression.”
